Massage Therapy
Our bodies are the vehicles we use to move through this world, take action on our dreams and desires, and carry out our mission on the planet. As we move through day to day, all sorts of things can act as stressors to our physical body.
Massage is a powerful way to bring the body back to equilibrium: relieving the body of stress, aligning the skeletal system, releasing old energy, and bringing overall health and well being.
I practice mainly deep tissue/structural work. I have training in thai/shiatsu massage, hot stone therapy, prenatal massage, and Swedish massage.
Because I work so much with energy and tuning into the deeper roots to physical pain, I intuit what may be causing repetitive holding patterns or pain in the body and often use sound and other energy work to release it. I may ask questions regarding one’s emotional life to gain clarity and awareness as to how the body may be holding onto energy that isn’t serving and causing pain.
The client is left feeling an overall sense of alignment and wellbeing because all the bodies are addressed in a session.
